Whoopi Goldberg has shown time and time again that she’s one of the most ignorant people in the entertainment world. Given how mindlessly liberal most celebrities are these days, that’s saying a lot.
Despite this, Goldberg still has a platform to spew her nonsense to the world every day on her ABC talk show The View. There, Goldberg showcases just how little she knows about virtually anything with her constant mistakes, yet she faces no consequences.
Goldberg had yet another slip up on The View earlier this week, and it’s one of her worst ones yet. On this occasion, she incorrectly fact-checked the actress Rosie Perez about one of the late great former President Ronald Reagan’s most iconic moments.
From Fox News:
“Biden and Harris got us out of a pandemic. Our world was crumbling around us. What did Trump do on the pandemic? He sent COVID tests that we desperately needed over to our adversary, to Russia. What happened?” she asked. “Even if you are a true Republican, don’t you remember? ‘Tear down this wall.’ Reagan was clear about who our enemy was, and still is.”
Of course, Perez was referring to the 1987 speech that Reagan gave at the height of the Cold War between the United States and the Soviet Union. While standing near the concrete wall that had East and West Berlin for decades, Reagan addressed the Russian-born Soviet President Mikhail Gorbachev.
“Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall,” Reagan famously stated.
The Berlin Wall was located in East Germany. At the time, East Germany was a satellite state that was located on the border of the Soviet Union and the West.
Once Perez made her point, Goldberg felt the need to step in with a fact-check. The situation quickly devolved from there.
More from Fox News:
“Now we’ve got to make a correction, because the ‘tear down the wall’ was Germany,” Goldberg said.Co-host Ana Navarro then corrected Goldberg, stating, “It was the Soviet Union,” recalling how East Germany was part of the Soviet Union.
“It was the Soviet Union, that’s right,” Whoopi replied, appearing to not realize she was being fact-checked by her co-host about the fact that the Soviet Union’s capital was in Moscow, Russia, not in Germany.
What a moron!
Check out the exchange for yourself in the video below.

Why Would Anyone Listen To Goldberg?!
Why anyone would listen to anything this woman says about politics is beyond me. Perhaps Goldberg should take a break from her favorite past-time of bashing Donald Trump for a day to instead educate herself on some American history.
Goldberg’s ignorance would be easier to stomach if she wasn’t another member of the media who thinks she has the right to tell others how to vote. Goldberg has long had one of the worst cases of Trump derangement syndrome of anyone in the press. Indeed, she hates Trump so passionately that she refuses to even say his name on air. Instead, she simply refers to him as “45” since he was the 45th president.
Goldberg is so clueless that she doesn’t even have a grasp on recent American history that she was actually alive for. Yet she thinks she can demand that Americans vote for Kamala Harris while simultaneously shaming Trump and the millions who vote for him.
The nonsense of the left truly never ceases to amaze me.
