‘Model Of The Year’ Title Is Handed to Transgender Alex Consani

The fashion world has been completely taken over by wokeness. There was a time when female models were only the most beautiful women in the world.

Sadly, these days, you can’t even count on them being biological women. Indeed, a transgender model named Alex Consani has taken the fashion industry by storm.

Now, Consani wants the world to know that she’s made history. The transgender individual has just been given one of modeling’s highest honors.

From Breitbart News:
Alex Consani has become the first transgender to win Model of the Year. “I’m the first trans woman to win this award,” the trans model said.

The 21-year-old — who has appeared on runways for Chanel, Stella McCartney, and Victoria’s Secret — was announced Model of the Year at the 2024 Fashion Awards in London on Monday.

Fashion Awards called Consani “a trailblazing top model and influencer known for her distinct look, vibrant personality, and role as a leading voice in the fashion industry,” adding that the transgender individual has been modeling since the age of 12, and quickly gained “attention for her striking features and unique presence.”

While accepting this award at the Royal Albert Hall in London, Consani described the honor as being a “big step in the right direction.”

“Now, more than ever, it’s an important conversation that should be had about how to truly support and uplift one another within this industry, especially those who have been made to feel insignificant,” Consani continued. “Because change is more than possible — it’s needed.”

“I’m the first trans woman to win this award,” Consani also said. “But I can’t accept this award without thanking those that came before me, and specifically the black trans women that really fought for this space.”

The black transgender model Kai-Isaiah Jamal was in the running to be Model of the Year in 2023. Instead, that award went to Paloma Elsesser, who is a plus-size model.

Consani’s Rise To Fame

Consani initially became famous on TikTok, where the so-called “model of the year” boasts four million followers. Consani, who also has 1.5 million Instagram followers, signed with IMG Models in 2019.

Two years later, the transgender influencer premiered on the catwalk for fashion designer Tom Ford. Since then, Consani has taken to the catwalk to model for luxury brands like Chanel, Alexander McQueen, and Burberry.

On top of that, Consani starred in the music video for Charli XCX’s “360” song from her “Brat” album.

Check that out for yourself in the video below.

The Model of the Year award is decided by a combination of a public vote and a panel of industry experts. Contestants vying for the award are meant to be models who have “dominated the industry” while also making a “global impact” over the past year.

This comes as the rights of biological women are under attack like never before. Biological men who claim to be transgender have infiltrated spaces that are typically reserved for women.

These biological men are using female bathrooms and even dangerously competing in women’s sports. Now, they’re taking female awards as well.

These truly are some disturbing times that we’re living in indeed.
