Democrats are constantly accusing Republicans of corruption. They are always claiming that Republicans are either bending or breaking the rules to win elections.
In reality, however, it’s often Democrats who are the ones doing this. Indeed, many would argue that Democrats are as crooked as they come and that they will do literally anything to win elections.
What the Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton just uncovered serves as further proof of that. He is calling on the Federal Election Commission to launch an investigation after he found possible illegal foreign donations through ActBlue.

“Our investigation into ActBlue has uncovered facts indicating that bad actors can illegally interfere in American elections by disguising political donations,” said Paxton. “It is imperative that the FEC close off the avenues we have identified by which foreign contributions or contributions in excess of legal limits could be unlawfully funneled to political campaigns, bypassing campaign finance regulations and compromising our electoral system.”Paxton initiated his investigation into ActBlue in Dec. 2023, and the portal’s directors responded by adding another security measure to credit card users on the site. Paxton said that was not enough, however.
“I am calling on the FEC to immediately begin rulemaking to secure our elections from any criminal actors exploiting these vulnerabilities,” he added.
Potential Fraudulent Conduct Is ExposedÂ
It was back in July that independent investigators uncovered evidence of suspicious donations to ActBlue. Virginia Attorney General Jason Miyares immediately launched a probe. He asked ActBlue to explain evidence that donations were “being made from fictional donors or dummy accounts, or that information reported by or through ActBlue may be fraudulent.”
ActBlue officials fired back by accusing Miyares of a “years-long disinformation and harassment” campaign against the portal. They added that his investigation is “a partisan political attack and scare tactic.” ActBlue claims that the goal of it is to “undermine the power of Democratic and progressive small-dollar donors.”
In the wake of being anointed as Joe Biden’s replacement back in July, Harris’ campaign has raised over a billion dollars. This has dwarfed the amounts raised by previous presidential candidate.
How Did Harris Raise This Much?
These numbers have raised some eyebrows for multiple reasons. Firstly, it was not so long ago that Harris was polling as one of the least popular vice presidents ever. Prior to that, Harris struggled to raise money while running for president in the 2020 race. She ultimately garnered so little support among Democrats that she dropped out at the end of 2019.
Finally, Democrat voters never chose Harris themselves. Instead, Harris was anointed as Biden’s replacement by the Democrat establishment, who never gave their own voters a say. Taking all of this into account, it’s hard to believe that Harris has managed to raise over a billion dollars in donations.
We can only hope that the FEC heeds Paxton’s calls by launching an investigation. The stakes of this election could not be any higher, and it’s currently as close as can be between Harris and Donald Trump. If Democrats are breaking the rules to help Harris, they need to be exposed and held accountable.
