Woke liberals are on a mission to make it easier than ever for minors to get transgender surgical procedures. Some of these surgeries will have irreversible ’impacts on these children’s lives, but the left doesn’t care.
That’s why the great state of Tennessee decided to fight back by banning transgender surgical procedures on minors. The Joe Biden administration responded by suing Tennessee over this.
The Supreme Court is currently hearing this case. On Wednesday, proponents of transgender surgeries for children made three confessions while arguing their case that are nothing short of horrifying.

The admissions — that cross-sex hormones can cause infertility, that people regret the procedures, and that transgender procedures aren’t associated with lower suicide rates — undercut leftist activists’ core arguments that the procedures are necessary and lifesaving.These revelations were made as justices heard oral arguments in the case brought by the Biden administration and the ACLU against Tennessee for a law that shields children from transgender procedures like puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones.

The Biden administration has teamed up with the ACLU to claim that Tennessee’s ban violates the 14th Amendment. As the Supreme Court heard the case, Justice Brett Kavanaugh pressed Solicitor General Elizabeth Prelogar about the side effects that can result from putting minors on puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones.
“I want to acknowledge gender-affirming care with respect to hormones can have some impacts on fertility,” Prelogar replied. “With respect to hormone use, there are effects on fertility.”
Prelogar went on to allege that a lower court “found” that “many individuals who are transgender” can still be fertile.
“There are measures they can undertake and they have to be counseled on those risks,” she claimed. “As I said before, I can understand that could be a hard tradeoff but it’s not unique to this care.”
Disturbing Side Effects
Cross-sex hormones have been found to cause serious conditions like infertility, deadly blood clots, heart attacks, increased cancer risks of the breasts and ovaries, liver dysfunction, worsening psychological illness, among other things. The left can pretend that this isn’t true all that they want to, but that’s a scientific fact.
ACLU lawyer Chase Strangio, who is a transgender man, falsely claimed that it’s been “clearly established in the science” that gender-affirming medications reduced the risk of suicide. Justice Samuel Alito, however, wasn’t having any of it. He cited research from the NHS in the United Kingdom that found that “there is no evidence that gender-affirming treatments reduce suicide.”
Strangio fired back by admitting that “there is no evidence in the studies that this treatment reduces completed suicide.” However, Strangio made sure to add that transgender surgical procedures will reduce suicidal thoughts.
Both Strangio and Prelogar acknowledged that some people regret undergoing transgender procedures. However, they alleged that this is a “smaller” number of individuals than “those who benefit and find it medically necessary.”
Yeah, right…
Children aren’t legally allowed to decide to get tattoos in this country until they are over 18. If that’s the case, they shouldn’t be allowed to elect to get transgender surgical procedures that will change their lives forever. We can only hope that the Supreme Court rules in Tennessee’s favor, and that this ban is upheld!
