Election Day is now just six days away. As the race enters its final stretch, Kamala Harris and Donald Trump appear to be neck and neck.
Indeed, this race is so close that it could end up being decided by the closest of margins. That’s why it’s so huge that the Supreme Court just handed Republicans a huge victory in the great state of Virginia.
On Wednesday morning, the conservative majority on the Supreme Court allowed Virginia to resume its purge of voter registration. The goal of this purge is to stop people who are not U.S. citizens from voting.

The high court, over the dissents of the three liberal justices, granted an emergency appeal from Virginia’s Republican administration led by Gov. Glenn Youngkin. The court provided no rationale for its action, which is typical in emergency appeals.The justices acted on Virginia’s appeal after a federal judge found that the state illegally purged more than 1,600 voter registrations in the past two months. A federal appeals court had previously allowed the judge’s order to remain in effect.
Youngkin hailed the Supreme Court’s decision as “a victory for commonsense and election fairness.”
“Clean voter rolls are one important part of a comprehensive approach we are taking to ensure the fairness of our elections,” he added.
Democrats Have Made It Easy For Illegal Aliens To Vote
This comes as Democrats have made it easier than ever for illegal immigrants to vote. After alienating millions of real American citizens with their failed policies, Democrats have resorted to depending on the votes of illegal immigrants just to stay in power.
In contrast, Trump has been pushing for voter ID laws to be upheld all over the country.
“Only U.S. Citizens should be allowed to vote,” Trump recently said.
The Justice Department teamed up with various private groups earlier this month to file a lawsuit against Virginia. They claimed that while acting on an executive order issued by Youngkin in August, Virginia officials were striking names from voter rolls in violation of federal election law.
Thankfully, the Supreme Court was not having any of this nonsense.
Given how close this election is, election integrity is more important than ever. We can’t afford to have this election be decided by illegal aliens. As Trump said, it should indeed only be American citizens who have a say in who our next president will be.
