AG Pam Bondi Shuts Down Dem Jasmine Crockett After She Demands Musk Be ‘Taken Down’

Attorney General Pam Bondi has issued a stern warning. It was directed at a sitting member of Congress. The warning comes amid increasing violence against Tesla vehicles and charging stations across the country. Authorities have already arrested three suspects.

The Justice Department is not taking these attacks lightly. Suspects could face up to 20 years in prison. The charges include domestic terrorism.

“She is an elected public official, so she needs to tread very carefully,” Bondi said on Fox News’ Sunday Morning Futures.

Who is Bondi referring to? None other than Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-Texas). During a virtual rally with the “Tesla Takedown” movement, Crockett declared: “On March 29, it’s my birthday. All I want to see happen on my birthday is for Elon to be taken down.”

Bondi, however, was not having any of this.

“She is an elected public official, so she needs to tread very carefully because nothing will happen to Elon Musk, and we are going to fight to protect all the Tesla owners throughout this country,” Bondi vowed in her full statement.

Bondi’s response was unequivocal. The Trump administration will not tolerate threats against American citizens. Not even from members of Congress. And especially not amid a wave of actual violence targeting Tesla owners.

Can you imagine if a Republican had said something similar about a liberal tech CEO? The media would be in a 24/7 meltdown. Yet somehow, when Democrats target successful business leaders, it’s just another day in Washington.

The ‘Global Day of Action’

Crockett’s comments came during planning for a “Global Day of Action” against Tesla. The event is scheduled for March 29th. This happens to be the congresswoman’s 43rd birthday.

The Tesla Takedown movement describes itself as a “peaceful protest platform.” They encourage Tesla owners to sell their cars. They also urge investors to dump company stock.

The real target appears to be Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). This initiative aims to streamline federal agencies. Crockett sits on what she called the “DOGE Oversight committee.”

“I have learned that there is only one language that the people that are in charge understand right now, and that language is money,” Crockett stated during the virtual rally.

Since when did making government more efficient become a cardinal sin? Only in today’s Democratic Party could cutting waste be treated as an offense worthy of “taking down” a private citizen.

Domestic Terrorism Charges

The FBI has documented Tesla attacks in at least nine states. Cars have been set on fire. Dealerships have been vandalized. Charging stations have been damaged.

“People need to know that the three people in custody right now, they will receive severe and swift consequences,” Bondi emphasized. “We are not negotiating these. We are not coming off these charges.”

The Attorney General was crystal clear about how the Justice Department views these incidents.

“This is domestic terrorism,” she declared.

Each suspect could face up to 20 years in federal prison. The charges reflect the serious nature of politically motivated violence against private property.

Thank goodness we finally have an administration willing to call these attacks what they are – terrorism – instead of downplaying politically motivated violence.

Democrat Double Standards

When confronted about her inflammatory rhetoric, Crockett attempted to downplay her comments.

“I just want to say that I have never promoted violence whatsoever,” she told MSNBC.

Then came the deflection. Rather than taking responsibility, she pivoted to January 6th.

“So Pam Bondi, if you have an issue with terrorism, maybe you should talk to your boss about locking back up those guys that he let out that participated in January 6th,” she continued.

How original.

This response reveals a troubling double standard. The same politicians who accused others of inciting violence through rhetoric are now using similarly charged language against private citizens.

During her rally appearance, Crockett claimed her supporters are “peaceful, loving people.” Yet her birthday wish was explicitly to see Musk “taken down.”

Americans should be alarmed when elected officials target private citizens. The pattern is concerning. First, they attack with rhetoric. Then their supporters carry out actual violence. Finally, they deny any connection between their words and actions.

Attorney General Bondi’s message was simple. The law protects all Americans. Even those disliked by certain politicians. The Trump administration will continue defending citizens and their property from politically-motivated attacks – regardless of who encourages them.
