Obama Gets Eviscerated by Black Trump Supporters – ‘Very Arrogant Of Him…’

Former President Barack Obama worked overtime in the final weeks of the 2024 presidential race to campaign for Kamala Harris. After seeing that Harris was hemorrhaging support among Black voters, particularly among Black men, Obama spoke out to shame Black people who were even considering voting for Trump over the Democrat.

Last month, a visibly irritated Barack lamented that the lack of enthusiasm for Harris “seems to be more pronounced with the brothers.”

“And you are thinking about sitting out?” Barack said. “Part of it makes me think — and I’m speaking to men directly — part of it makes me think that, well, you just aren’t feeling the idea of having a woman as president, and you’re coming up with other alternatives and other reasons for that.”

Unfortunately for both Harris and Obama, however, this backfired on them in a big way. Not only did Harris get trounced by Trump in the Electoral College, he also destroyed her in the popular vote.

As for Obama, he’s being slammed by Black Trump supporters who find it to be “insulting” that he expects them to vote based solely on race and gender.

From Fox News:
“I think it’s very insulting because we have our own mind,” said Trump supporter Leslie Jones, a maintenance technician at an apartment complex in the Detroit area.

Jones proceeded to slam former President Barack Obama for suggesting that misogyny potentially played a role in Black men’s lack of support for the Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris. Before the election, the former prominent Democrat told a group of Black men at a campaign event that it seemed as though they were not favorable to the idea of a female president.

“I’m a free thinker. It’s not that I didn’t vote for her because she’s a woman. It was her policies I didn’t support. I think what Barack Obama did was very arrogant of him,” Jones said.

Other Black Trump supporters agreed with Jones.

“I think the name-calling is just all fear-mongering,” said Robin Barnes, who works for America First Works during election cycles.

“Anything to make people feel a certain way so that they won’t vote the way a certain party wants people to vote,” she continued. “It all comes, once again, with the policies—knowing the policies—understanding how those policies affect you every day—and then that eliminates the fear-mongering.”

Obama, Democrats Take Minority Vote For Granted

Obama and his fellow Democrats have long taken minority votes for granted. Indeed, while they constantly hurl accusations of racism at Republicans, Obama and other leftists simultaneously behave as if Black voters will vote based on race instead of voting based on who the better candidate is in terms of policies.

If that isn’t true racism, I don’t know what is!

What Obama didn’t count on was that many Black voters saw right through Harris. In Biden-Harris America, millions of Americans of all races have been struggling to put food on the table.

The last thing that was on the minds of many voters heading into this election was the race and gender of the candidates. Instead, they wanted someone who would actually bring change to this country. That person is Trump.

In the end, the outcome of this presidential race should show Obama that he no longer wields as much power among Black voters as he thought he did. If he wants a Democrat president in 2028, perhaps Obama should consider sitting out that election cycle!
