Believe it or not, Joe Biden is still the president of the United States. This may come as a shock to many, as in the months since he was forced out of the 2024 presidential race by members of his own party, Biden has been laying as low as possible.
Though Donald Trump has secured the presidency for the next four years, Biden still has a few weeks left to leave his mark on the White House. This week, Biden reemerged to award someone the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
The person that Biden chose to receive this honor, however, is nothing short of sickening. Indeed, Biden went woke once again by awarding the Presidential Medal of Freedom to Planned Parenthood President Cecile Richards. In giving her this distinction, Biden cited her work to “advance women’s reproductive rights.”

“Today, I had the honor of awarding Cecile Richards the Presidential Medal of Freedom. With absolute courage, she fearlessly leads us forward to be the America we say we are – a nation of freedom,” Biden posted alongside a photo with Richards. “Through her work to lift up the dignity of workers, defend and advance women’s reproductive rights and equality, and mobilize Americans to exercise their power to vote, she has carved an inspiring legacy.”

Richards responded on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, by thanking Biden for giving her this honor.
“Such an honor representing abortion rights and the need for health care for all,” Richards wrote. “Here’s to the work ahead!”
The latest statistics show that Planned Parenthood facilitated over 392,000 abortions in 2022. This was an increase of 5% from the previous year. Indeed, abortion represented over 97% of Planned Parenthood’s pregnancy resolution services.
Abortion In The 2024 Election Cycle
Abortion was one of the hottest topics of this past election cycle. Richards spoke at the Democratic National Convention back in August. It was there that Vice President Kamala Harris was named as her party’s nominee weeks after Biden dropped out of the race. He did so after his terrible debate performance against Trump back in June.
Planned Parenthood quickly endorsed Harris once she was the Democratic presidential nominee. Unfortunately for them, however, this did nothing to help Harris’ chances of winning. Not only did Trump trounce Harris in the Electoral College, he also destroyed her in the popular vote.
On top of that, Republicans also won both the Senate and the House. This election can only be described as a clear referendum on the entire Democratic Party and their woke policies, with abortion being at the forefront of that.
The fact that Biden would respond to all of this by giving Richards the Presidential Medal of Freedom shows just how out of touch he and the rest of the Democrat establishment are with what the average American is feeling right now. The American people have spoken, and they’ve made it clear that Democrats have gone far too left on issues like abortion.
If Democrats want to start winning more elections in the future, they might want to stop rewarding people like Richards for the sick things that they are doing,
