Joe Biden is thankfully preparing to leave the White House next month. Many feel that over the past four years, Biden has cemented himself as a truly terrible president.
One of the worst aspects of Biden’s time in office has been his constantly prioritizing illegal aliens over American citizens. On his way out the door, Biden was hoping to do this once again by opening up the Affordable Care Act, known as Obamacare, to illegal aliens enrolled in the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA).
Unfortunately for Biden, however, a federal judge wasn’t having any of this. Indeed, the judge shut down this effort in a big way this week.

On Monday, District Judge Daniel Traynor granted a preliminary injunction and stay to ensure that Biden’s agencies cannot implement such plans while the issue makes its way through federal court.“This decision is a big win for the rule of law,” Kansas Attorney General Kris Kobach (R), who led the lawsuit, said in a statement. Congress never intended that illegal aliens should receive Obamacare benefits. Indeed, two laws prohibit them from receiving such benefits. The Biden administration tried to break those laws. But we fought back and defeated the Biden Justice Department.
Alabama, Arkansas, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Florida, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, North Dakota, Ohio, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia had joined Kansas in the lawsuit against the Biden-Harris administration.
It’s been estimated that it would cost American taxpayers $300 million per year if around 100,000 DACA illegal immigrants enrolled in Obamacare. However, other estimates have put the cost up to $2.8 billion.
Judge’s Decision Celebrated
Immigration Reform Law Institute (IRLI) Executive Director Dale Wilcox spoke out to celebrate the judge’s decision.
“This expansion of Obamacare to illegal aliens once again shows the Biden Administration’s contempt for the law,” Wilcox said.
“Like DACA itself, this expansion is a usurpation of power by an executive that opposes the will of the people as expressed in duly enacted laws, and arrogantly purports to rewrite the law itself,” he continued. “We are pleased the court saw how starkly unlawful Biden’s rule is, and struck it down.”
It is believed that Donald Trump will be throwing out the final rule once he takes office next month. This makes this preliminary injunction even more important.
Democrats didn’t only lose the presidency on Election Day. Indeed, they also lost both the House and the Senate. This can only be described as a referendum on the entire Democratic Party and its woke agenda.
While Democrats have done many things wrong over the years, one of their biggest mistakes has been prioritizing illegal aliens so blatantly. Millions of Americans are struggling just to put food on the table thanks to Democrats’ terrible economic policies. Instead of helping out real American citizens, however, Democrats have been more focused on aiding illegal aliens who have no business being here in the first place.
Enough is enough, and Biden and his fellow Democrats have lost all their power. Sorry, Joe, but your beloved illegal aliens will not be getting Obamacare after all!
