Hunter Biden in Hot Water Days After Pardon – Landlord Claims He Owes $300K in Unpaid Rent

All eyes are currently on the outgoing president’s son, Hunter Biden. On Sunday night, President Joe Biden pardoned Hunter for any crimes that he may have committed over the past decade.

This came as a shock to many, as Joe had claimed for years that he would never pardon Hunter. Unfortunately, that’s exactly what Joe did, exposing himself as a shameless liar in the process.

Days later, however, Hunter has been rocked by a new scandal. Shaun Maguire, a partner at venture capital firm Sequoia, responded to news of the pardon by claiming on social media that Hunter owes hundreds of thousands of dollars in unpaid rent.

From The New York Post:
“So what happens to the $300k+ in back pay rent that Hunter Biden owes my family from 2019-2020? Is that pardoned now? Thanks Joe,” Maguire wrote in a post on X.

“Hunter was our tenant in Venice, CA. Didn’t pay rent for over a year. He tried to pay w/ art made from his own feces. Absolute s– bag,” Maguire wrote, adding in a follow-up post that the rent was $25,000 a month for the house, which is located on the canals in Venice, California. He added that Hunter “changed the locks and used secret service to enforce. We had no access to the property.”

When asked by a social media user whether Maguire and his family attempted to evict Hunter Biden over the unpaid rent, he said the Bidens are “kind of a scary family to go after.”

Previous Claims Against Hunter

Hunter was previously accused of failing to pay a landlord tens of thousands of dollars in rent.

Last year, multiple sources claimed that Hunter owed the Sweetgreen CEO and co-founder Jonathan Neman $80,000 in back rent. This was roughly three months worth of rent at a separate $25,000-a-month house located in Venice. Hunter, 53, and his wife Melissa, 37, were accused of trashing the home.

“They were totally disrespectful of Jonathan and [his wife] Leora’s property,” a source alleged. “Melissa was rude and entitled. They destroyed the stereo equipment in the home and when someone came to fix it, they were uncooperative. They also left the place dirty.”

The insider went on to say that Neuman “decided not to take Hunter to court for the arrears.”

“It’s not that he needed the money and frankly it was embarrassing,” the later source explained.

Meanwhile, this comes after Joe signed a “full and unconditional pardon” for Hunter. This pardon applies to any federal crimes that he may have committed between January 1, 2014, and December 1, 2024.

Unfortunately for Hunter, unpaid rent is considered to be a civil issue. This means that it’s not covered under the presidential pardon that his dad signed for him. Perhaps Hunter will finally have to meet the consequences of his own actions and be forced to pay up.

Wouldn’t that be a nice change of pace for this spoiled son of the president?!

These new allegations against Hunter will come as a surprise to nobody. Indeed, even most Democrats can no longer deny that Hunter is as crooked as they come. In the end, this just reiterates what a terrible decision pardoning Hunter really was.
