Trump Responds After Laken Riley’s Killer Is Convicted – ‘Remove These Criminals And Thugs’

It’s been nine months since the University of Georgia nursing student Laken Riley was brutally murdered on her own college campus by the 26 year-old Venezuelan illegal alien Jose Ibarra. On Wednesday, Ibarra was finally brought to justice.

Ibarra, who has known ties to the Tren de Aragua gang, was found guilty on 10 charges. These charges included murder, kidnapping, and aggravated assault with intent to rape Riley. He viciously attacked Riley while she was out for a jog on February 22, 2024.

President-elect Donald Trump has since responded to Ibarra’s conviction. What he had to say is a powerful message for Riley and for Americans everywhere.

From X:
JUSTICE FOR LAKEN RILEY! The Illegal who killed our beloved Laken Riley was just found GUILTY on all counts for his horrific crimes. Although the pain and heartbreak will last forever, hopefully this can help bring some peace and closure to her wonderful family who fought for Justice, and to ensure that other families don’t have to go through what they have.

We love you, Laken, and our hearts will always be with you. It is time to secure our Border, and remove these criminals and thugs from our Country, so nothing like this can happen again!

During the trial, prosecutor Sheila Ross revealed just how brutal the illegal alien’s attack on Riley was.

“[H]e put huge holes in her head with a rock and he did it more than once. There is no reason for him to do that except to silence her forever,” Ross said.

Judge Patrick Haggard briefly spoke before sentencing Ibarra to life in prison without the possibility of parole.

“I acknowledge there is no such thing as closure. There will be no closure,” he said. The judge went on to describe Riley’s murder as being a “tragedy.”

Trump Calls Out Biden

Since an illegal immigrant was the killer in this case, the mainstream media tried to sweep Riley’s murder under the rug from the very beginning. Trump, however, wasn’t about to let them get away with this.

One month after Riley’s murder, Trump met with her “beautiful mother and family backstage” at a rally in Georgia.

“We vow to keep Laken’s memory alive for as long as we are here on this Earth and we take comfort that she is now home with God in Heaven,” Trump said during the rally.

Trump also called out Joe Biden’s relaxed border policies that have allowed millions of illegal aliens into our country.

“Biden has implemented a formal policy that illegal aliens who intrude into the United States are granted immunity from deportation,” Trump said. “Thus, when this monster showed up, at our border, he was set free immediately under the program that Crooked Joe created.”

Many would argue that the blood of Riley and the countless others who have been murdered by illegal aliens over the past four years are on the hands of Biden and his “border czar” Vice President Kamala Harris. That’s undoubtedly partly why the American people voted them out of office and put Trump back in the White House where he belongs.

Ibarra never should have had the chance to murder Riley. Indeed, he never should have been in this country in the first place. Please join us in saying a prayer for Riley’s loved ones as they continue to mourn her.
